Whether it’s an intimate wedding ceremony, a vibrant corporate party, or a stylish event, Double Groove brings live music with feeling, craftsmanship, and professionalism.Else Merit Schreur is an experienced singer who has made her mark in the Dutch music scene. As the lead singer of the well-known rock band Bad Candy, co-founded by Barry Hay of Golden Earring, she has performed in large venues such as the Heineken Music Hall and supported top artists like Pink! Else studied at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen and obtained a master's degree at Universal Voice Institute in Amsterdam. In addition to her stage work, she is also a singing teacher at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the owner of her own singing school. Pianist Paul Horjus is a versatile musician with a background in jazz, pop, and gospel music. He studied at the Prins Claus Conservatory and the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle. Paul has played in various formations, from big bands to small jazz combos, and has gained experience both at home and abroad. His musical knowledge and arrangements create a rich and full sound, even within the intimate duo setting.
