Floating Flame is a versatile live trio from Amsterdam and Rotterdam that effortlessly combines soul, pop and funk with subtle jazz influences. With warm vocals, atmospheric piano sounds and dynamic electronic percussion, we create a unique sound that is perfect for get-togethers, corporate parties, private concerts and cultural events. Everything we play is live, with feeling, energy and full attention to atmosphere and experience.

Floating Flame is an atmospheric and energetic live trio from Amsterdam and Rotterdam, consisting of vocals, piano and electronic percussion. During our performance we perform familiar and surprising songs in a style that moves between soul, pop, funk and light jazz. Think of the sound of Amy Winehouse, the groove of Scary Pockets and the warmth of Celeste and Olivia Dean. Everything you hear is played live and perfectly tailored to the mood of the moment. Whether it's an intimate dinner party, a lively get-together or a stylish reception.

We offer a variety of options. Performances from 30 to 90 minutes, with or without intermission. On request, an acoustic set is possible, or just an extended show with additional sound reinforcement and lighting. Our line-up is flexible in consultation, for example with double bass or an extra singer.

Floating Flame arose from a shared love of live music and playing together. We are experienced musicians with a background in pop, jazz and improvisation. We combine musicality with a sense of atmosphere and timing. With our performance we do not just want to bring music, but create an experience that stays with people.
