Movie Sint
Robert-Jan Wik has now been a highly regarded Saint for 35 years. For a large audience, this Sinterklaas is still childhood sentiment for many. He played the role on the big screen several times and is known from the very first popular (cinema) movies (2004-2009). Wik starred in blockbusters such as "Sinterklaas and the Secret of the Ruby," "Sinterklaas and the Hour of Truth" and "Sinterklaas and the Secret of the Big Book.
Theater Sint
He also does not shy away from large events and theater shows. In addition to his creative efforts as Sinterklaas Theater Producer, Wik himself was the Saint in several theater productions. In 2004 in the Jubilee show at the Open Air Theatre Caprera where the
moon literally shone through the trees. This surprising SiSint production came about with the unique cooperation of Dieuwertje Blok, Maarten Wansink (then known as Huispiet), Wegwijspiet (Michiel Kerbosch), Marc Nochem (now known as the Boekpiet), Jochem van Gelder, Paul van Gorcum and many others.
Wik's highlight was the farewell show of WegwijsPiet which was broadcast on television. Not only did he create this theater show, but Wik also managed to surprise thousands of big & small children on horseback at the Haarlem Theaterhal. It became (especially) for Sinterklaas party lovers a memorable theater show which Wik created in cooperation with Aart Staartjes, Michiel Kerbosch, Hetty Heyting (Tante Til - Familie Knots), Martine van Os and many, many others.

With the danger that now everyone is going to book this group, I can report that we had a very successful Sinterklaas party. Partly thanks to the arrival of St. Nicholas, but especially his pete's, the children and the parents went home afterwards. I have heard messages from: "Very personal", "Humorous", "Child-friendly", "Well-dressed" and "Well-mannered". It was a first time for us this way, but next year we will definitely do it again this way. Thanks.
