Hearing upbeat bluegrass music mixed with bright polyphonic vocals will automatically get you moving! Familiar songs in a bluegrass jacket put a smile on all faces. Ideal for at get-togethers, weddings, receptions, parties, festivals and in restaurants.

Joyful is a five-piece bluegrass band that plays a mix of well-known songs with a bluegrass twist and more traditional covers from the genre. They can perform both unamplified for intimate settings and amplified at parties to get everyone dancing.

Joyful consists of young, motivated musicians who are studying at the conservatory. Since 2023, they’ve been bringing color to cities across the Netherlands with street music and creating a lively atmosphere at parties, celebrations, and weddings. They’ve also performed at events such as the Heleen Festival, A Different Note, and Culturele Zondag.

Joyful plays unamplified or amplified sets of up to 90 minutes, in 30-minute segments.
For unamplified sets or when the necessary equipment is available on-site, there are no equipment fees.
