WELCOME TO THE MAGICAL WORLD OF AERIAL DANCE THEATER

In a performance, we aim to merge the virtuosity of a circus performer with the elegance of a dancer. We combine aerial acrobatics with dance in the air and dance on the ground. This is what makes a performance by The Aerialettes so special: the connection between dance on the ground and in the air, allowing aerial dance to transcend the technical performance of a trapeze number and merge into quirky and exciting choreography. We believe the story is as important as the wow effect. Strength and technique meet intention and emotion.

We are passionate creators who love to challenge ourselves. With our years of experience as dancers, we create sensational, artistic aerial dance that lifts the audience out of their seats.

The dancers are connected via a rope and depend on each other's weight. What the other does affects your own freedom of movement. They are attached to each other. If the other does or does not cooperate it will determine your own freedom of movement and the possibilities that flow from that. The dancers are not in control of everything chance is also there....

Through dance and music we are taken into a poetic, abstract and topical work in which it is visible how the choices of one have an effect on another. How we are all dependent and therefore connected. Get carried away by this modern dance in the air.
