I sing for you the most beautiful Dutch songs and/or a combination of Dutch songs with recognizable English songs.

I am Marlies Grotegoed, 49 years young and singing is what I love to do most!
Started with the Amsterdams Volkskoor and the Jordaanensemble with the real smartlappen and since a few years involved with the ensemble De Versierders.
Together with my dear colleague Jan Broekema I form the duo Grotegoed&Broekema and as a duo we can also be found on Showbird.
I love to sing the beautiful songs of Willeke Alberti, Jenny Arean, Simone Kleinsma, Lisbeth List and Tante Leen. English I take more back to days gone by, think of Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Midler, Shirly Bassey, Dorris Day or Vera Lynn but also Adele and Katie Melua are in my repertoire. In short, fairly versatile but still more focused on the most beautiful repertoire.
