Pumps & Bootz is a fun all-round cover band that brings fun to your party with the best songs from 1960 to now and makes people enjoy and dance. With an extensive repertoire of pop, rock, disco, reggae, blues, salsa and everything that is fun and well known, we always make with you a nice fitting set list for your party.

With five enthusiastic and passionate musicians, Pumps & Bootz has been performing on various stages since 2017. From the main stage with King's Day in Pijnacker, to a backyard party on the other side of the country... We make a party of every occasion with all the fun and energy.

With different songs from past to present we play the whole evening full, with something recognizable for everyone and always something to dance to. An old sing-along, a solid rocker, a fun dance record or maybe that deliciously wrong Guilty Pleasure...... They all come along! This means.... FEEST!!!

Because of the small composition we play just as easily on a large stage as in a backyard, at a neighborhood party or in a hall.
We can use the equipment needed for a gig, which often happens when it's a bigger gig, but we can just as easily bring our own sound and light equipment if that's not available. This way we can keep the costs reasonably low.

Let's introduce ourselves:

Sjors is the guitarist of the band. He has been playing guitar since he was 16 years old. What a sound he gets out of his guitar! He enjoys playing the most difficult solos the most and as soon as he gets the opportunity he will play an extra solo where he can, but never at the expense of the song.

Recently he has also dared to support the singers in the band with a second voice or sings a song himself while playing guitar. It is great to have a heavy male voice in the band. That brings even more color to our covers.

Dosha is one of our singers. She has been singing for as long as she can remember, but only since a few years has she actually dared to step on stage. And how happy we are that she did!!!

Besides singing, Dosha likes to pick up an instrument to add just a little extra to the music. A shaker, tambourine, samba ball, congas and a guitar are regularly picked up. She also likes to sneak behind the drum kit or the piano.
Dosha is always in for a lot of fun and will bring everyone into the party with her enthusiasm.

Dosha is the piece of Pumps in the band. Rarely do you see her on flat shoes. The heels fit her like a glove.

Michelle
When you think of Michelle all the rock songs come to mind. On stage, this tough rock chick stands firmly in her BOOTZ. Michelle already has the necessary stage experience and feels completely at home here. Besides singing, Michelle often picks up a small instrument like a shaker or a tambourine.

Not only rock songs suit her well, but a second voice here and there is also easy for her.

Robert is our bass man. With his laid-back nature, he easily strums all the bass lines. Together with the drums this gives a fantastic foundation to the whole. Not only his playing, but also his personality is very relaxed. That is always very pleasant in the group. His charisma creates a wonderful balance within Pumps & BOOTZ.

Richie is our drummer. With ease he drums all kinds of different rhythms and styles of music. A heavy rock or a relaxed pop song, reggae or salsa, Richie plays them all with pleasure. With, of course, occasional room for a delightful drum solo.
