A colorful table, trays full of beads, threads, and ribbons, and children who join in whenever they want. They tie knots, string beads, and decorate their own bracelets—and ten minutes later, they walk away proudly with something they made themselves. No instructions needed, no set start time. Just pull up a chair and get started.

The friendship bracelet workshop is a drop-in activity. Children can join in whenever they want, make a bracelet, and then move on. That makes it ideal for events where visitors are walking around freely—no one has to wait for a group or a starting signal.

How it works at an event
The colorfully decorated table draws children in. They sit down, quiet down, and are occupied for a while. Parents stand nearby, drinking coffee, looking around. This creates a calm spot in a busy area—no noise, no hustle and bustle, just a place where people can take a breather.
After ten to fifteen minutes, a child walks away with a bracelet on their wrist—or gives it to a friend, a sister, or a parent. That’s the moment when other children see it and want to join in too. The workshop fills up on its own.

How It Works
One facilitator sits at the table and helps as needed. The materials are laid out: threads, beads, ribbons, and clasps. Children choose their own colors and create their own designs. Up to twelve children can sit at the table at the same time.
The facilitator creates a calm, inviting atmosphere. Everything is provided: materials, work tables, benches, and colorful decorations.
