Hans de Graaf (1966) was born in Spakenburg as the youngest of four brothers. He went to the Calvijnschool in Spakenburg and completed his VWO in Amersfoort, after which he graduated in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Utrecht. After his studies he worked in the pharmaceutical industry and from 1995 he started his own companies within ICT, software development and online learning. His combination of analytical talent and creativity led to several patents and regular international speaking engagements.

In 2022, Hans suffered a heart attack followed by cardiac arrest, which triggered a lengthy rehabilitation period. During that recovery, he discovered how strongly music touched him and found a new part of himself. His warm baritone voice proved particularly well suited to quiet, timeless music - the crooners and classics he himself grew up with.

Voice of the Stars is thus the result of a personal development: a place where musical taste, life experience and a natural stage calm come together in the style that suits Hans best: easy listening!
