An atmospheric, glowing and energizing solo tribute to Eric Clapton.
Emphasis on Clapton's solo career, with many of his hits and some atmospheric album tracks.
A feast of recognition and nostalgia, musicality and emotion and of course sparkling guitar playing.

A (theater) performance with this Eric Clapton tribute includes 2 sets of about 45 minutes, with intermission of 15-30 minutes. Background videos to the specific songs or a general continuous video are possible, if technically feasible.
During the show regular short commentary, or anecdotes.
From White Room to Tears in Heaven; from Layla to Wonderful Tonight.
The greatest hits from Clapton's career will pass by, interspersed with beautiful or spicy album tracks. An evening of pure enjoyment, listening and singing along!

This show with live vocals and solid guitar work Ronn does in the Netherlands, but also since 2019 during several tours in Cyprus, with in May 2024 the 10th tour. In 2023, Ronn van Etten was invited to some theater performances and regular shows in England, and a second tour followed in 2024. April 2025 follows an upcoming tour in England.

Ronn van Etten has spent his life playing in bands and doing many solo performances.
He played in the New Motions, among others, and he still plays now in cover/blues band FLIRT and in CLAPTONES, the Eric Clapton tribute band.
Ronn released 8 CD albums and 1 DVD album (some Dutch, some English - all with original work he wrote, recorded and produced).
In recent years a number of singles and an album appeared, released on American labels (Music For World Peace Records and Captain Blue Records).

Travel expenses concern travel within the Netherlands.
When performing in (border area) Germany or in Belgium, in addition to mileage allowance, €150 will be charged for hotel accommodation.
