Kian van der Enden is an entrepreneur, innovator and quantum scientist with a PhD from QuTech, TU Delft, a leading global institute in the field of quantum technologies. His impressive career started as co-founder of Delft Hyperloop which he led to become world champion at Elon Musk's Hyperloop Pod Competition in Los Angeles. He then worked at Microsoft in America designing new quantum computers before returning to Delft to obtain his PhD. In total, he has been working on quantum computing and quantum Internet systems in industry and at academic institutions for more than 10 years. His research is well-known in national and international news, and he has been designated by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences as a national "Face of Science.
