Moods:
Moods was formed in 2014 when a group of musicians
from Purmerend and the surrounding area decided to perform Pink Floyd’s
“The Dark Side of the Moon” in its entirety. It was a huge hit.
After an initial series of sold-out shows with
rave reviews, we’re continuing as a Pink Floyd tribute band: Moods.
The setlist is being expanded to include a broader repertoire of Pink Floyd songs. Songs such as “Shine On,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Hey You,” “Comfortably
Numb,” “Another Brick in the Wall,” and “Sorrow” are being added. The nine-piece band is further joined by projection specialist Piet Nieuwenhuis and a
permanent sound and lighting technician, Jacco Bleeker (Bleeker Events).
Hear, See, and Feel
Moods believes it is important to
perfectly execute not only the musical quality but also the visual and experiential aspects of a performance.
With authentic samples and
videos projected in the background,
the audience gets the real Pink Floyd concert experience. This is how we aim to present everyone with a breathtaking spectacle and create a magical memory.
Moods has now performed on various stages, including at festivals, in clubs, concert halls, and at parties. There, we let the audience experience the ultimate Pink Floyd experience. We can tell from our audience that Pink Floyd is still gaining new
fans and that people of all ages love experiencing “live” performances
of songs by their favorite band.
