Mie the Washerwoman is actually supposed to do laundry, but in the meantime she prefers to make small talk with people or blow big bubbles with children. She looks straight out of history, with her antique cart full of trinkets.... She is a sight to see, but also brings social excitement to your event!

When you go out, of course you have to look neat, thinks Mie the Washerwoman. So on every occasion she is invited, she makes sure you look perfect. Isn't there any lint on your coat? Are you watering those flowers on your dress enough? Maybe I should wash your ears? Mie the Washerwoman is a playful, lighthearted addition to any event. Whether it's a relaxed party, a historical market or an intensive congress, Mie washes all your worries away. Possibly also with bubble blowing ... as her American colleague would say: to put your troubles in the bubbles!

Mie the Washerwoman is played by Sylvia de Kok (Willemstad, 1972). Already at a young age she crawled into various roles for street theater. From princess to pirate and from witch to soldier. For over 25 years she was regularly seen as a host/actor in escaperooms.
Sylvia's creativity does not stop at acting. For example, she is a creative teacher at several elementary schools, can regularly be found at events as a face painter and provides styling for theater performances and photo shoots.
