Live music during a funeral or farewell can be an indispensable emotional addition to give a place to the loss and make the pain together bearable. Johan Timmermans is a conservatory graduate guitarist with a lot of experience in providing music during all kinds of occasions.

Johan Timmermans is a classically trained all-round guitarist with years of stage experience. He worked his way through many different genres to eventually graduate from the conservatory as a gifted classical guitarist. Today, as a solo guitarist, he focuses mainly on the better-known repertoire and non-Western classical world music.
Besides his career as a solo guitarist, Johan also performs with his Arabic and Mediterranean music duo Zephyra, Spanish folk music duo Hiedra and the traditional Greek music duo Meraki.
Johan performs for listening audiences as well as background music at all kinds of venues in the Benelux. It is always possible to request suggestions for pieces in advance to make occasions even more personal. Should the space require it, amplification will
be brought by the artist himself.
