Every Tom Waits song is a story. NoRush takes you through guitar, saxophone and vocals into Tom Waits' musical collection of stories. Sit back and enjoy.

The duo NoRush plays an (acoustic) anthology from the oeuvre of Tom Waits. You cannot dance, at the most you can tap your feet and then ..., then everything inside moves. NoRush wants to take you into the world of Tom Waits and step into an adventure of melancholy, longing, sweet memories, faith in the happy ending, hope, loss, vulnerability, small unimportant but connecting events, stupor, madness and love.

These songs can be moving, chafing, confusing, flowing, rippling. They change direction and perspective. They change tempo - they slow down, they speed up, they pause. The songs are recognizable or not, but mostly worth listening to.

We can play 2 or 3 sets of fifteen minutes to an hour.
We can also definitely add leds from other singer-songwriters. Think Tm Hardin, Norah Jones, the Beatles.

Fred has been singing and playing guitar since he was a teenager. Peter plays saxophone and has also been singing since he was a teenager.
