Bart sings and plays familiar(er) songs, in the way they touch him. That may be different from how you know it. But chances are it will touch you, too.

Bart is a versatile singer-guitarist who finds inspiration in both well-known hits and surprising covers - and performs them in his own way. With a well-developed voice and wonderful guitar playing, Bart knows how to bring each song to life in his own way.

Starting out as a youth choir singer, he soon discovered his passion for music. After adventures in bands and a tour of England with the acoustic duo "Cripple & the Blind," his creative horizons continued to grow. He wrote music for theater, played lead roles in musicals such as Moulin Rouge, Hair and The Rocky Horror Show, and brought a unique song to life for students in Wageningen. With a mix of voice, guitar, complemented by a solid theater background, he continues to share his love of music, solo and in collaboration with others.

His performances are a relaxed, interactive experience where he takes the audience on a musical journey with a healthy dose of creativity and flair. Whether it stays close to the original or is a unique interpretation of a classic, Bart's "Guess Your Picture" shows show how music can connect and inspire.
