Tacking between Chanson, cabaret, contemporary influences. But the cement is always Jazz.
A CD is in the pipeline and will be released this summer (2024). ?
The group consists of:
Alec Lagrange: sax (plays regularly with The Hop Sh Bam Connection, teaches at KASK and De Poel Gent)
Benny Van Acker: bass (plays regularly with Hans Mortelmans and teaches at the academies in Mechelen and Sint-Niklaas)
Ramsy Irani: compositions, guitar and vocals (plays in various bands, released three CDs with Les Tzigales, teaches in Sint-Niklaas)
Tony Gyselinck: drums (BRT Jazz Orchestra, Toots Thielemans Quartet, but also Jo Lemaire and Rocco Granata,..)

Wij hebben enorm genoten van Les Tzigales op onze bruiloft! Heel blij dat we hen hadden gekozen. Het is hele gezellige achtergrond muziek (niet te hard) en geeft echt een Frans sfeertje. Ook van de gasten kregen we veel positieve opmerkingen! En de communicatie met de band verliep erg soepel. Kortom, aanrader!
