Centre Ville plays the original lyrical music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. These two and their Hot Club De France quintet were the inventors of gypsy swing, gypsy jazz (also called Manouche music), the Parisian jazz of the '30s and '40s. Now very popular again with the Rosenberg Trio.
