As a table and walk around magician, I move among your guests and make amazement happen right in front of them - no stage, no "everyone quiet for a moment." Within minutes, total strangers are laughing together about what they just saw.

I am Teun Rookus, professional table magician and walking magician (close-up / walk-around) with over 10 years of experience. My specialty is close-up magic: magic at centimeters distance, with nothing more than my hands, a few cards and some coins. No big box of tricks, no stage - pure sleight of hand, right in front of your guests.
What makes me different: before I made this my profession, I studied psychology (MSc). You don't hear that during a performance, but you notice it. I can sense when a group needs a joke, when it needs surprise, and when I need to put someone in the spotlight. That's how it lands with everyone in the room - with the management and the intern, with grandma and the kids.
The effect is invariably the same: guests who would otherwise stick together in fixed groups get talking. The magic is my tool, but the real result is connection and a shared "did you see that?" moment that is talked about for a long time.
