Rose Marin creates music with the soulful warmth of Americana and the comforting sounds of folk. Her songs tell true stories about love, heartbreak, and everyday life. She tells her story by putting words on paper. In real life, she’s a closed book, but in her music, she bares her soul completely. Vulnerable yet determined, she takes the stage and sings about personal experiences—both the sad and the happy memories—turning her vulnerability into strength. As the words roll off her tongue, relatable situations come to life in your own imagination.
Rose’s musical journey began modestly but quickly grew into impressive performances at festivals, radio shows, and her own headlining shows. In 2021, she released her first EP, “Southern Comfort.” In
September 2023, Rose took the energy of her music to new heights with a powerful full-band show at Bitterzoet in Amsterdam.
Now, in 2024, Rose is diving into the studio to write and record new musical chapters that will soon see the light of day. With her authentic style and compelling lyrics, Rose Marin remains a standout and inspiring force in the Dutch music scene.
WEDDINGS
In addition to my passion for creating and performing my own music, I provide live music for weddings. There are several options available:
- Live music during the wedding ceremony: You can choose from an extensive repertoire of romantic songs, but of course I can also learn your favorite songs (starting at €350).
- Live music during another part of the day: Enjoyable live music during, for example, the reception, the cake-cutting, or dinner. I play a mix of many well-known, easy-listening covers (starting at €400).
- Personal song: I’ll write a personal love song, for and about you both. This can be performed live during the wedding. The song can also be professionally recorded so it can be used in your wedding video, for example, giving you a lovely keepsake (starting at €250).
A wedding is a custom event, so I’d love to discuss your wishes with you. Prices depend on factors such as how long I play, what time I arrive, how many songs I need to rehearse in advance, and the wedding venue.
