For over 6 years now, Brabant-based singer Heidy Crooymans and Zaan-based guitarist Rene Nijenhuis have formed a close-knit musical duo. Together, they perform the most beautiful jazz, soul, and pop songs with a smooth acoustic flair. Familiar songs given a unique, creative twist: recognizable to the audience yet still surprising. Small in size, but big in sound and experience.

Perfect for any event and season—CloZup effortlessly adapts to the setting. We love to perform at networking events, wedding ceremonies or receptions, corporate parties, and presentations. With our own compact sound systems, we’re flexible about venues and have songs suited for every season on our setlist.

Experienced professionals who love to play. Both musicians have a wealth of experience in various pop and jazz groups, and you can tell by the relaxed atmosphere on stage.
* Singer Heidy Crooymans is conservatory-trained and sings in various bands and big bands, allowing her to switch effortlessly from swinging jazz standards to subdued ballads.
* Guitarist René Nijenhuis is a versatile session musician who plays in countless orchestras and bands. A nice bonus for couples: René is also an official wedding officiant. Say “I do” to this musical match!
