Mijn naam is Johan Daalman, een Nederlandse DJ, geboren in Vlaardingen begin jaren 60, beter bekend onder mijn artiestennaam Johan D. Op 17-jarige leeftijd begon ik met het mixen van vinylplaten. Ik werd geïnspireerd door soul-, disco-/jazzmuziek en later door de Franse componisten Jean Micheal Jarre en Giorgio Moroder.
Mijn DJ-carrière in de housemuziek begon begin jaren 90 als radiojockey in Rotterdam. Kort daarna werd ik resident DJ in Le Bateau in Rotterdam en draaide ik mijn sets in de clubs van Den Haag en Scheveningen. De afgelopen jaren had Johan D. optredens in Club NL in Amsterdam en hostte hij de Johan D. & Friends area op Crazyland in Zaandam en het 7th Heaven festival in Beesd, maar ook
bruiloften en privé feesten. Sinds kort heb ik ook optredens in de Harbour Club in Amsterdam en Vinkeveen. Het geluid is speciaal geselecteerd voor de klanten van restaurants en loungebars met het geluid: klassiek-disco, nu-disco, lounge-geluid, .
De DJ-sets van Johan D zijn te herkennen als fris, nieuw, opbeurend, vrouwvriendelijk, een muziekervaring en een DJ die het publiek als de beste ervaart.

DJ Johan D maakt jouw feest compleet. Tijdens de gesprekken probeert hij een goed beeld te krijgen van jouw wensen qua muziek. Hij maakt een goede mix van de muziekstijlen die je wilt en zorgt er zeker voor dat de muziek die je absoluut niet wilt niet gedraaid wordt! Hij leest het publiek goed zodat er geen gaten vallen in de sfeer. Hij brengt zelf zijn DJ-booth en lichtshow mee. Allemaal ingrediënten voor een knalfeest!

All the guests during the evening really enjoyed both the mixture of music, the adaptive DJ Johan whom listened and adhered to special musical requirements, the setting of the lights etc. The factor that gave me the most enjoyment was to see the overall enjoyment of all the guests. DJ Johan is super professional. Was at our party location well in advance to set everything up. Audience enjoyed and danced a lot. I would so book him again for a party.

The communication was a bit stiff at the beginning but was straightened out by Johan. The dancing was a bit disappointing but that was because many people stayed outside to talk. Finally nice weather! The light-set was fantastic and so were the guests! I enjoyed this the most. Looked cool through the windows! Service and communication, see above! Johan is really highly recommended! Super helpful and motivated!
