What starts a few years ago in front of the mirror turns into a promising singing career. Leiden-born Wesley Klein began singing at the age of 15. In 2007 he records his first single Adios My Love. A year later, a second single follows, Feest Van De Liefde. In July 2009, he auditions for the TV hit Popstars. The jury is impressed and the Dutch public also votes massively for the Leiden native. Together with fellow Popstars Kim, Kristel and Joshua, he made it to the grand final in early 2010. With a record contract in his pocket and his first single You Raise Me Up out, Wesley may eventually call himself the winner of Popstars.

His debut album Vandaag En Morgen is released in 2010, and he sings the stars from heaven as a special guest during Toppers In Concert. Rene Froger invited him to sing at his 50th birthday party in Carré.
His studio album Follow Je Hart followed in September 2012. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 Wesley also appeared as a guest together with Danny Froger and Danny Nicolay to sing for the Toppers in the Amsterdam ArenA in front of no less than 50,000 enthusiastic people!

2014 is the year Wesley starts a new challenge together with Danny Nicolay and Danny Froger. Together the three of them form Gents. The first single "Dans en zing" is a great success.
Wesley does not sit still solo either, with fresh, young productions he continues on his chosen path. The year 2016 starts well for Wesley Klein with the release of his new album Onderweg (On the Road) which has been enthusiastically received. The disc is filled with fine, danceable songs. Last summer, he scored a hit with his single Why Don't You Dance With Me. His latest single is the swinging Chocolate.
