Oleg Morozov was born in 1976 in Kazan, Russia. From the age of seven he took piano lessons at the Kazan State Conservatory's secondary music school (with M.B Arbuzova). In 1994 he completed this course with a gold medal and entered the Kazan Conservatory (and studied with V.A. Stolov). While studying in the 1990s, he won a scholarship from the President and Government of the Russian Federation. He was then nominated for a scholarship from the Swiss company Davidoff for his merits in art. He also received a scholarship named after the famous pianist S. Richter; this was a scholarship from the Gloriya Fund, founded by the world-renowned cellist M.L. Rostropovich.
Oleg successfully participated in international competitions in Italy, Spain,
Germany and Russia. Among others, he won the competition of Citta di Pavia (Italy) and the Bach Prize in Bremen (Germany). In 1999 he graduated cum laude from the Kazan Conservatory of Music.
In the year 2000, Oleg Morozov received an invitation from the Conservatory of Groningen, at which he continued his studies with A.M. Gold. In 2003 Oleg Morozov gave a number of successful concerts with the Noord Nederlands Orkest on tour through the Netherlands. In 2004 he continued his studies at the conservatories of Zwolle and Arnhem (with Frank van de Laar). In 2009, he graduated and received the title Master of Music (MM or MMus) (formerly the title: Performing Musician).
Oleg Morozov has many concerts, he gives piano and singing lessons and he accompanies five choirs in Groningen and Drenthe.
