SPOUNK! plays rock-oriented own songs with catchy lyrics, in both English and Dutch. We draw inspiration for our songs from music of all times.

SPOUNK was founded as a hobby band in Waddinxveen (near Rotterdam). After many rave reviews, SPOUNK! entered the studio in 2008, resulting in the first Demo "Alone". The first performances were a fact, and immediately successful during the small prize of Nieuwerkerk. In 2012 a long cherished wish came true; recording their own clip. "Loser" it became! Performances followed until singer Chantal Demming left the band in 2013.

Various singing talents served as frontwoman until 2019, after which in 2020 Marcel became the new frontman. Having fun with music, with each other and with others, is central to us. You can see this in our boundless enthusiasm: live we really come alive. That's when you really see, hear and feel it.
