Creative thinking is one of the most important skills in the 21st century. Often, however, we are taught "what to think" rather than "how to think. We are tested by giving the right answers to - perhaps - the wrong questions. Our brains are fast and efficient because of connections we make every day. These keep our lives organized and predictable.

That's great, but sometimes it keeps us from seeing alternative perspectives. If we want to think differently, we need to ask different questions; questions that can lead to insane, unrealistic and downright bad ideas.

If we want to think innovatively, we need to ask different questions. Insane, unrealistic and downright bad ideas make you break free from your usual way of thinking. That way, new, surprising, but also realistic solutions have a chance. In my keynote presentation, I encourage participants to look at issues differently.
