We are The Connectors and perform as a duo with Guitar,Ukelele, Piano and Vocals(2 voices). We connect through our music and enthusiasm with the audience and take them into our experience. We always get the hips moving!
We play covers from 70's to music of today. From the real hits that people can sing along to quiet songs with more inspiration, In doing so we combine our musicality and spontaneity making every performance a party.
We already have a lot of experience through 20 years of performing as husband and wife. Yet we continue to innovate and alternate with guitar,ukulele and also keys.
Because of this we create a good vibe every time, that will not get boring to listen to quickly. We often build up our sets to a climax. But can also be hired as background music. We always enjoy it !
We charge 400 euro ex vat for 45 min.

In early 2023, we thought of celebrating our 25th anniversary together as lovers in a way that suited us. We devised Festival Celebrate Love for our family and friends. A Festival dedicated to togetherness, connecting, love, meeting, fun and good food with sweet, fun people. That included The Connectors!!! Earlier at Soffree on 54, we had heard the musical duo the Connectors play and were touched in our hearts. We really wanted them to play at our festival. Pure good connecting musicians with a lovely repertoire and good energy. So one Saturday morning we discussed our idea at the coffee table with Mariëtte and Erik and they were enthusiastic too ;-). On 9 September this year, they played on a beautiful late summer's day, at a crazy venue and with a diversity of small and big songs. It was complete partly because of them. If you have something to celebrate and want good music from the heart, book them! Thank you guys, because of you it was a day and night to remember

De Verbinders, bestaande uit Mariëtte en Erik Wijma, zorgen voor een hele fijne muzikale ondersteuning van jouw feestelijke gelegenheid. Zij hebben een deel van onze huwelijksdag muzikaal opgeluisterd. En dat was geweldig. Zij voeren niet de boventoon, maar zijn wel nadrukkelijk aanwezig. Zij onderscheiden zich door een mooie muziekkeuze, welke bestaat uit covers met een persoonlijke touch. Erik en Mariëtte brengen een ontspannen energie bij de gasten, enthousiast, passievol, maar niet overdone. Mariette zingt krachtig met een heldere stem, Erik ondersteunt haar met de nodige speelsheid met zijn gitaar. Volledig afgestemd op elkaar. Zij interacteren met hun publiek, zonder dat het een ‘act’ wordt, authenticiteit en eigenheid voorop. Wij en onze gasten hebben volop van hen genoten!
