Willem Post is The Voice of America
In 1996, Willem Post gained national prominence as the first, regular America expert on Dutch television on the current affairs program Netwerk (formerly KRO Brandpunt, NCRV Hier & Nu and AVRO Televizier).
He has now published 15 books on the United States, the Netherlands and the world. He has written many articles for quality newspapers including Het Parool, NRC Handelsblad and the Belgian De Morgen.
Post studied American history and international relations at Leiden University. As an America expert, he is affiliated with the Clingendael Institute. He is also a member of the Public Diplomacy Council in Washington D.C.
