ROOG has been at the top of the Dance industry for more than 20 years. As the Dutch "godfather of house," he is responsible for an average of 225 performances per year at home and abroad.

ROOG was named the best Dutch house DJ by Basic Groove magazine for three consecutive years, was named the most popular club DJ by Nieuwe Revue magazine, and ranked highest in the Dutch DJ Awards of 2003, 2004, and 2005.

His big breakthrough came in 2001, when ROOG performed on the main stage at Sensation in front of 40,000 people, broadcast live by Radio 538 and the music channel TMF. In addition to his solo performances, ROOG works with his brother Greg van Bueren in the duo Hardsoul; ROOG is also one half of the famous duo Housequake, alongside Erick-E.
