ROOG has been at the top of the Dance industry for more than 20 years. As the Dutch "godfather of house," he is responsible for an average of 225 performances per year at home and abroad.

ROOG was named best Dutch house DJ 3 years in a row by magazine Basic Groove, was named most popular club DJ by magazine Nieuwe Revue and was ranked highest in the 2003, 2004 and 2005 Dutch DJ Awards.

The big break came in 2001, when ROOG performed on the mainstage of Sensation in front of 40,000 people, broadcast live by Radio 538 and music channel TMF. Besides his solo performances ROOG works with his brother Greg van Bueren in the duo Hardsoul, ROOG is also 50% of the famous duo Housequake together with Erick-E.
