Valerio already knew as a little Italian that he wanted to work for the TV. After an adventure behind the camera at 'Big Brother' he followed a crash course at '6Pack' (who hasn't grown big with it). After two seasons of '6Pack' Valerio switched to TMF, where he crawled into bed daily with strangers in 'Waking up with Valerio'.

Valerio in the Snow', 'Valerio Dives Under', 'Valerio's Dating Show' and the 'TMF Awards' followed. In 2007 the presenter appeared for the first time in a feature film; the romantic comedy 'Alles is Liefde' written by Kim van Kooten.

At BNN, Valerio works on several fronts. For 'Je Zal Zal Maar Hebben' (You Will Have It But Have), he goes out with young people who, despite their illness, abnormality or condition, have not lost their lust for life. In the impressive series 'About My Corpse', the presenter follows young people with a life-threatening illness. With Dennis Storm, Valerio fights hard in 'Dennis vs Valerio' and can also be seen together with Dennis in 'Proefkonijnen'.
