Even as a little Italian boy, Valerio already knew he wanted to work in television. After a brief stint behind the camera on “Big Brother,” he took a crash course on “6Pack” (who didn’t grow up watching that?). After two seasons of “6Pack,” Valerio moved over to TMF, where he crawled into bed with complete strangers every day on “Wakker Worden Met Valerio.”

“Valerio in the Snow,” “Valerio Goes Undercover,” “Valerio’s Dating Show,” and the “TMF Awards” followed. In 2007, the host made his feature film debut in the romantic comedy “Alles is Liefde,” written by Kim van Kooten.

At BNN, Valerio is taking on various projects. For “Je Zal Het Maar Hebben,” he sets out with young people who, despite their illness, disability, or condition, haven’t lost their zest for life. In the compelling series “Over Mijn Lijk,” the host follows young people with life-threatening illnesses. Valerio engages in a fierce battle with Dennis Storm in “Dennis vs. Valerio” and also appears alongside Dennis in “Proefkonijnen.”
