Maurice de Hond is an Amsterdam-born Dutch pollster and entrepreneur who has lived most of his life in the capital. He has an adventurous entrepreneurial spirit and has supported or led major projects at various companies.
Starting in 1969, Maurice began working as a candidate assistant at the Social Geographical Institute of the University of Amsterdam and became a scientific associate at SGI after graduating in 1971, where he worked until 1973. In 1975, together with Hedy d'Ancona, he founded the company Cebeon b.v., which focused on research and consulting in the non-profit sector. He remained active here until 1980.
In the run-up to the 1977 House of Representatives elections, De Hond began using a special model based on NIPO material
for the program "In de Rooie Haan," which allowed the political preferences of the Dutch to be estimated more accurately. Today, Maurice de Hond is considered an authority on opinion polls.

I really liked Maurice de Hond's presentation at the WTG congress on AI in Technical Wholesale. He gave a very clear entry into the world of AI and how to start using it as a company. Maurice explained a difficult subject very well. His breakout session was also very interesting with lots of practical examples and plenty of room for questions. Maurice has so much experience and so much knowledge about these kinds of topics. In short, Maurice is really a must have for such a meeting, both as a speaker and giving a workshop.
