YOWSAH brings a dazzling and varied show consisting entirely of the music of Nile Rodgers & CHIC. The man is responsible for a huge arsenal of absolute world hits. Think Le freak, Good times, I want your love, Like a virgin, We are family, Get lucky and many more.
YOWSAH plays almost all of them, one hit after another with a high dance factor. Sitting still is not an option, you too will get infected with the sound of Nile Rodgers. Whether you want to or not!

YOWSAH took its band name from CHIC's debut single and hit:
"Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah Yowsah Yowsah)."
Guitarist/songwriter Nile Rodgers, along with bassist Bernard Edwards, was behind many of CHIC's hits in the late 1970s and later many other artists. Thus, with his recognizable guitar sound from his "Hitmaker," Nile contributed greatly to successes by Madonna, Diana Ross, Sister Sledge, David Bowie, Daft Punk, Duran Duran and INXS, among others. All scored hits with Nile or Bernie behind them. After the sudden death of Bernard Edwards in 1996, Nile Rodgers continued that tradition, including his contribution to Daft Punk's No. 1 hit Get Lucky.

YOWSAH consists of 7 enthusiastic and experienced musicians, all with the same passion for the music of Nile Rodgers and CHIC. With a performance of YOWSAH you book an act that, because of its diverse repertoire, will appeal to a wide audience. The band can be booked for almost any occasion.
