BIOGRAPHY:
Violinist Anastasia Fridman, born in 1997 in the Netherlands. Graduated in 2021 from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in the class of Michael Vaiman and Daniel Austrich and recently received her Master Diploma in violin playing in 2025 from Codarts in Rotterdam under the direction of Frederieke Saeijs.
She began her musical path
as a member of the special department called "Akademie for young musical talents" at the Utrecht Conservatory in the Netherlands, she also traveled often to Odesa, Ukraine to take lessons from Anna Lapteva at the famous Stolyarski school. Then her talent began to gain recognition at various national and international competitions such as: The Princess Christina Competition, The Haarlem "Op de Stip" competition, and the Perpetuum Mobile competition in France/Netherlands, where she won top prizes and was praised for her strong musicality and artistry. Anastasia continued to pursue her love for performances and participated in famous fantastic festivals such as: the Delft "Musical Chamber Music days" in the Netherlands(2011) Musical Summer & Masterclasses Festival in Spain(2015-2017) The Talent Music Master Courses in Italy 2016, Euregio Orchestra Festival in Germany (2019) and Singapore 2019 Violin Festival. She had the opportunity to perform with wonderful musicians and be taught by outstanding teachers such as Dylana Jenson, Ayke Agus, Cho-Chiang Lin, Zheng Weimin, Kyungsun Lee, Boris Garlitsky, Ani Schnarch, Namyun Kim, Ani Kafavian and Qian Zhou. Over the years, Anastasia has been invited not only to Europe but also to South Korea. Thus, she played within various orchestras such as: Guangyhan Symphony, Western Philharmonie Orchestra, Köln Symphoniker, Nord-Deutsches Film Orchester and Klassische Philharmonie Bonn. She has performed in famous concert halls in Europe, China and South Korea such as: the Konzerthaus Berlin, Hercules Saal Munich, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, Elbphilharmonie, Beijing Concert Hall and Nowon Arts Center. She has also played with top-quality collectives and receives compliments for her open communication with the other musicians on stage. In 2019, she was pleased to be invited tr play with the Solid Chamber Ensemble and to perform at the Suncheon Food&Art Festival in South Korea in 2019.
In addition to her cross-culture performances, she has been praised for her excellent warm vocal sound, expressive stage presence, strong musicality, and her curiosity to explore different styles of music in different cultures. She has also picked up a second instrument; the Chinese violin called Erhu, and she is currently a student of Professor Wang Lili in Shanghai. She was invited by the Chinese Guandong Satellite TV to participate in the fourth season of the TV show called "Chinese Music Festival" "国乐大典" and has also studied for a year, as part of her master's studies, at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
Today, Anastasia performs frequently as a Wedding Violinist on international stages and was also invited as a violinist for TedX, Chanel, Jan Smit and the Dutch Embassy in Pakistan.

De muziek van Anastasia op viool en erhu was echt de kers op de taart van onze bruiloft. Bij de borrel speelde ze prachtige muziek, deels door ons aangedragen en deels door haar gesuggereerd. Vooral het muziekstuk op de erhu was heel speciaal, met name voor de chinese kant van onze familie. Als we ooit een jubileum of familiefeest geven zouden we Anastasia er zeker weer bij willen vragen. Ook het contact vooraf en tijdens de bruiloft was heel prettig, ons nichtje van 6 jaar mocht zelfs even helpen met het klaarmaken van de snaren van de viool.
