Ray Martin is the No. 1 Ring Announcer within the sport of boxing and kickboxing in the Netherlands.
Ray Martin is a professional international boxing and kickboxing ring announcer. He hosts major boxing events on Videoland, Ziggo Sport, and Eurosport, at the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam, at Ahoy Rotterdam, at De Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam, at the Excelsior Stadium in Rotterdam, at the Wings Hotel at Rotterdam The Hague Airport, at the Cruise Terminal in Rotterdam, and at countless other premier venues. For years, Ray Martin has been the familiar face in the ring at the Dutch Boxing Championship, the Ben Bril Memorial, the World Port Boxing Event, the White Collar Boxing Event, the Westland Boxing Gala, and the Brecheisen Business Boxing Event. Ray Martin is known for always appearing in the ring extremely well-prepared. For example, he gathers sufficient “announcement information” in advance about every boxer who is set to compete, takes charge of the lighting and sound, and dresses professionally. This combination of factors—along with the fact that he has a wealth of experience in the boxing ring—makes Ray Martin a highly sought-after ring announcer.

I hired Ray for the Urban Trail Rotterdam event. His role was to cheer on and energize the participants as they passed by at MyLife Rotterdam. Ray did a fantastic job. It was something he had never done before, but as far as I’m concerned, he should definitely do this more often. It’s something we’ll definitely keep in mind for future events. Thanks, Ray!
