Bob loses 90% of his vision in 2007 at age 23 due to an unannounced hereditary eye disease. Suddenly, he has to surrender his driver's license, no longer recognizes people on the street and can no longer read his textbooks. Friends, a therapist and a lot of perseverance pull him through this dark period. He now dedicates his life to helping others. Two days a week he practices at home, teaches at the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy, provides supervision and regularly goes on the road as a speaker.
