Besides with a live band you can also book Captain Midnight with a 4-man tape show with 2 singers and a saxophone player. In this way you keep the "feel" of a live band and therefore Captain Midnight's tape show is very suitable for parties up to 200 visitors such as weddings, private parties, galas and sports clubs. We play 2 sets of 45 minutes.

Captain Midnight can not only be booked with a large live band, but can also provide an excellent evening as a tape act in a smaller line-up. This can be done as a trio with saxophonist Emiel.

A great alternative where a solo or duo act is just too little for the party, but the big live band is just too much. The Tape act approaches the atmosphere that the live band can bring and is suitable for occasions where the budget, stage or location are less than adequate. Also as a festive interlude at larger events, the Tape-act is a nice possibility.

When Captain Midnight performs with a tape show, hundreds of orchestral tapes are used, with the piano taken out and live vocals and piano added. The wide range of songs in many genres and the ability to make requests automatically creates an evening tailored for the audience. The repertoire ranges from rock&roll and sixties and seventies songs, to the danceable pop and disco of the seventies and eighties. In addition, more modern work and a lot of Dutch songs can be done, and therefore this piano show fits just as easily at a silver wedding where the average age is around 50 as at a wild field hockey party where it is a lot lower.
