Najib Amhali is a comedian at heart. Most people know him from his comedy shows, where he knows how to make his audience cry with laughter!
With his typical style of quick jokes and lively anecdotes, Najib Amhali manages to enchant the audience and make them laugh constantly. With his unique blend of humor and sincerity, Najib Amhali leaves a lasting impression on his audience, who are both entertained and touched by his unforgettable performance.
Najib Amhali grew up in Krommenie and was born in Nador (Morocco). He won the Pall Mall Export Prize in 1993 with the Comedytrain. In 1997, he starred in the musical Eindeloos alongside Liesbeth List and Flodder actor Coen van Vrijberghe de Coningh. In 1998, he won both the audience and jury prize of the Leids cabaret festival. He was nicknamed The Moroccan from the Jordaan. A year later, he starred
alongside Hans Teeuwen and Kim van Kooten in the film Jesus is a Palestinian. In 2002, he had a role in Theo van Gogh's television series Najib and Julia. He also starred in the multicultural comedy Shouf Shouf Habibi (2004).
Najib is best known for his comedy. Najib is currently performing his 9th full-length cabaret program Waar Was Ik.
