Celebrating Amy is the Dutch Amy Winehouse Tribute! Singer Denise van Dorst puts herself in Amy's shoes in this tribute show about the life of this legendary singer. In her much too short career, Amy only released two albums but almost every song on them became a hit. Famous songs like Rehab, Valerie, Back to Black and You know I'm No Good are all featured in this tribute show.
Denise van Dorst has been singing as Amy for quite some time. Not only her appearance but certainly her voice shows a great resemblance to that of the British icon, which is certainly unique. The eventful life of Amy Winehouse is reflected in her musical repertoire. Denise is able to fully
immerse herself in it and together with her band, the audience is treated to a show that is both swinging and soulful, but can also be intense and emotional in the beautiful ballads Amy has sung.
