Every concert is unique.
Since 2020 Lies Joosten and Danielle van Driel-Veltman play together under the name Harpkracht: een Bad van Licht. Danielle and Lies both live on a stone's throw from the river IJssel and let their music flow together like a connecting river. With their almost identical harps, they are both very experienced in creating music that touches the heart, calms the mind and feeds the soul.
Their timbre, timing and flow fits wonderfully, while each brings in their own timbre, palette and repertoire. During their (recital) concerts they play their own
compositions, Celtic themes and long improvisations to immerse and carry you away, an alternation of movement and silence. Danielle also uses her beautiful voice in a number of songs.

Danielle performed at our wedding on 6th of August in Amsterdam. It was the same day as the pride parade. Danielle made sure she took that into consideration and was there well in advance of the time. She performed beautifully for the welcome reception and also for the wedding ceremony. We gave her 3 songs and they were both perfectly performed. Specially our "speacial song".. We asked her to do this song when we are busy signing all the legal documents. On the main day, she didnt need any help of cues.. she knew exactly what to do. She timed our special song perfectly. All the guests were in awe of her singing and they were all very impressed with the ambiance she created. Additionally, she was very flexible with her time and also did video calls and sent us a whatsapp video of the song days before the wedding.. that was helpful for us to get a feel of the main day. Thank you so much for making our magical day even more magical! You were awesome!
