Caroline Rutten won the 35th edition of the Concours de la Chanson Alliance Française in 2019. With her band, she now puts the greatest classics from the chanson repertoire and contemporary chanson in a new format.
Last year she toured with The Legends with the show 'Swinging Paris - The Christmas Special' through theaters in the Netherlands and Belgium. She also performed at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam with Willeke Alberti accompanied by the Sven Hammond Bigband.
Together with her band, consisting of accordion, double bass, piano and drums, Caroline and her warm voice perform music that moves you but can also be danced to. Old classics by Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour to fresh chansons by Zaz, everything is covered. With this chanson quintet you imagine yourself in a café in Paris or on a sultry summer evening on the Côte d'Azur.
