Bakkenliedjes brings the warm, nostalgic sounds of yesteryear to life at any public or corporate event. With authentic Bakelite 78 rpm records, we take you back to the period from 1900 to 1960. Each record breathes history - complete with the characteristic atmospheric crackle that gives the music its charm.

Bakken songs makes forgotten sounds shine again. We play authentic 78 rpm Bakelite discs - pure musical heritage from the period 1900-1960. Our collection is gathered from living rooms, flea markets and thrift stores. This makes us perhaps the most sustainable DJ in the Netherlands. Sound carriers that would otherwise go to waste are given a second life at your event. Each record sings its own story, complete with that warm, atmospheric crackle that only true old-fashioned sound can give.

Our wooden turntable booth and sturdy cases full of rare gramophone gems create a stylish, retro look. It feels like taking a step back in time - to the first half of the last century.

Bakken songs provides your gathering with a timeless soundtrack: from subdued background sound during a drinks or conference break, to festive dance music at a wedding or corporate party. Expect a colorful mix of the roaring twenties, the swinging '40s and '50s, and the golden rock and roll era. Think greats like Louis Armstrong, Little Richard, Vera Lynn, Elvis Presley and Bing Crosby, complemented by Dutch legends like Johnny Jordaan, The Ramblers, Willy Derby and many others.
