Gypsy guitarist Lollo Meier brings gypsy jazz show from the top shelf.
Lollo Meier grew up in an elite family of gypsy musicians. He is, among others, cousin and contemporary of great masters such as Stochelo Rosenberg and Fapy Lafertin. Lollo's style is inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt and is traditional, melodic, sensitive and cheerful. He composes a lot of new material in this gypsy jazz style, his compositions have a refreshing authentic Djano taste and he plays with extraordinary virtuosity. Lollo Meier has recorded numerous albums over the past 20 years. He plays at all major jazz festivals at home and abroad. In 2013 an extensive film was made about him ("Lollo's Journey"). The Lollo Meier Quartet also consists of the experienced musicians Bert Smits (violin), Bram van Es (rhythm guitar) and Melvin Könings (double bass).

Lollo Meier Quartet performed at our wedding, and it was totally how we imagined it! We were looking for some nice appropriate (background) music to play during the drink after the ceremony that took place outside on a green courtyard. Lollo Meier Quartet makes happy gypsy style music that is hard to stand still on. This created a super atmosphere! We got a lot of compliments from guests about this music and choice.
