Augmented Health(care)™
Lucien Engelen goes into depth about the subjects from his latest book: Augmented Health(care)™; 'the end of the beginning'. Why has the current care model had its day? What opportunities does it offer and what do we need to be alert to?
Culture eats strategy for breakfast
Those who pursue change and innovation within the organization are often better off implementing a change program aimed at a permanent change of the (business) culture than rolling out an innovation strategy. Lucien explains why this is so and how it works.
How to create fertile ground for sustainable innovation
Projects, programs, lean, agile. They're all nice tools. But what really works if you want to make a lasting change and what are the pitfalls.
From healthcare to health: what your role could be in the future of healthcare.
With the double ageing of the population, increasing burn-out complaints from healthcare workers, a shortage of skilled personnel and rising costs, healthcare is heading for an implosion. This development had already started before the Corona pandemic and has since been intensified. Healthcare is creaking at the seams and the consequences of the Corona crisis are now affecting the entire Dutch economy. Lucien sees the solution in health. In this lecture he explains how other organizations and companies can take a role in this major challenge and why he sees the solution in a cross-industry approach. Especially during (and soon after) the Corona pandemic.
