Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Melle captures the magic of music with honest and organic sounding songs. With great passion, he sings about love and loss, with melodies that stick in your head and very personal lyrics, often with a comforting message. Melle's music can be described as indie-pop or indie-folk. His repertoire ranges from intimate, acoustic ballads, inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Sufjan Stevens, to energetic pop songs that sound like Sam Fender and Coldplay. With a band, of course, the latter is especially prevalent.
We can play in slightly smaller settings with 4 band members and our own equipment or for larger venues with 5 band members. Then loose equipment should be available.
Melle stood out in recent years with his achievements. For example, he won both the 'Nobel Award Leiden' and 'Mooie Noten', his single 'On The Road' achieved a listing in Spotify's Viral 50 NL charts, and his hit single 'Run Run Run' was played gray on national radio. With it, he even captured first place in Radio 2's V15 hit list. Moreover, he participated in the Popronde where he became one of the most booked acts of that year, played as support act for British singer Charlie Winston in Paradiso and sold out his own show in Cinetol Amsterdam.

Awesome Melle played at our wedding last weekend. He played 3 songs with the ceremony, which he had personally rehearsed for us! He played it better than the original artist. Melle performed as a surprise at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party. My parents, all the guests and I were very impressed with his wonderful performance. Melle is very flexible, very pleasant with making arrangements for the performance, arranges all technique and decoration himself and it was even possible to play 2 songs with him. We had agreed on a nice playlist with some request songs, some covers and his own music, I can recommend him to anyone, he puts on an enchanting performance and adapts perfectly to the setting of the party . He has a beautiful voice and plays fantastic on his guitars and piano. I think we are going to hear a lot more from Melle, he is indeed 'the best singer in the Netherlands'.
