Benjamin Fro is a singer/rapper from Amsterdam who raps on danceable tracks with committed lyrics. His musical influences include Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper and Noname but his message is similar to that of Bob Marley, Logic and Laurynn Hill. His music brings different genres together and is always groovy and danceable. Together with his live band, he knows how to shake up any audience.
Benjamin Fro can be booked in a standard five-piece band (vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keyboards) but can also be booked as a real XXL formation with extra backing vocals and horns.
Together with his live band he sold out album releases in Paradiso, the Melkweg and Sugarfactory. He has also played at festivals such as Grasnapolsy, Amsterdam Open Air and various Liberation Festivals, and has his own event every year during Eurosonic/Noorderslag
Benjamin Fro was born in 1994 and already gained a lot of stage experience in his youth with the band PLeaSe! On 24 February 2017, Benjamin Fro presented his first solo album: Talking About Life and put himself on the map as a solo artist for the first
time. An eventful year followed with many performances, a song on a Polish hit CD, a viral video of the poem 'Less Geert', a song under the documentary 'I Love My Muslim' and over 400k streams on Spotify. On 8 February Fro presented his 2nd album: Behave, in a sold out Paradiso. The album is full of catchy hooks and contains a critical view on the Dutch 'normal' mentality.

Benjamin Fro played with his live band at our event. The show was a dynamic rollercoaster that alternated danceable songs with great stories and songs that really had a message. The whole audience joined in and the band made sure that all these different genres and stories melted together into one great whole
