I am a pianist and composer. I made my own music on the grand piano from the age of 15. I am inspired by Chopin, Beethoven and the music of Simeon ten Holt. Most of my own work is written for the dance style balfolk. Music and dance are very strongly connected there. I like subtle narrative melodies with a lot of buildup, variations in rhythms.

I also play Canto Ostinato in my own way. As dozens of people from all over the world tell about my interpretation on youtube: intimate, small, sensitive, the tranquility through a special tempo and very narrative through violent climaxes and very small passages.

My music is authentic and entirely original.
In late 2019, I finally recorded my CD at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht (NL).

I can provide a performance lasting up to 2 hours, filled with (irregular) waltzes, mazurkas, Scottish dances (sometimes combined), and more. My music—if you’re not yet familiar with it—is romantic, delicate, and atmospheric.

As a bonus, I can also play a piece (30 min to max 80 min) of *Canto Ostinato*, a unique and beautifully captivating piece of listening music by Simeon ten Holt.
