I'm Melle, a 23-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Leiden. I try to capture the magic of music by bringing my music with as much passion and honesty as possible.

I like to play the most beautiful, cheerful or well-known covers at weddings and parties, but I also have my own artist project for which I write my own songs. With my own music I am supporting the whole tour of Douwe Bob this spring and I am often played on Radio 2, 3FM and Veronica.

I let my performance fit exactly what is needed at the event. Singing along with cheerful songs, shedding a tear with romantic wedding music or my music in the background during a drink is all good!
You can always request songs and I can provide technique.

This page states that my act lasts 1 hour, but longer or shorter is always possible. Fully professional audio technique I can also provide myself. Ask all your questions in the non-committal application and then we will definitely come out :) You will then receive from me a clear price list with different options and large repertoire list from which you can choose songs.

Usually I play on guitar, but if you like to hear piano, that's possible too.

My own music can be described as indie-pop or indie-folk. The repertoire ranges from intimate, acoustic ballads, inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Sufjan Stevens, to energetic pop songs that sound like Sam Fender and Coldplay.

Melle stood out in recent years with his performances after graduating from the Haarlem Conservatory of Music. He won both the "Nobel Award Leiden" and "Mooie Noten," achieved a listing in Spotify's Viral 50 NL charts with his single "On The Road," and his hit singles "Run Run Run" and "Old Summers" were played gray on national radio. He even captured first place twice in Radio 2's V15 hit list. He participated in the Popronde where he became one of the most booked acts of that year, sold out his album-release show in Cinetol and played many support acts. The latter for Ruben Hein, Charlie Winston and now at the 14 shows of Douwe Bob's tour across the country, with whom he previously shared the stage.
