RESTLESS SINNER
Along with the presentation of their live album "The Game is over," the new name of the blues/rock formation Raymunda was presented: Restless Sinner.
With this a new path was also taken, although with the blues and rock as the basis, but also room for the phenomena almost unknown in this circuit such as humor and interaction.
Unique is the role of front woman and singer Raymunda, one of the best performing blues/rock singers in the Netherlands.
It led
to several leading performances.
The famous Life I Live festival (Koningsnacht) in The Hague, with about 6000 enthusiastic visitors. Breda Jazz with 22000 visitors. They were the audience favorites at The Dutch Blues Foundation. Won the Four Roses Bourbon prize with a song they wrote themselves.
Final acts in Vlaardingen, Bergen op Zoom, Breda, The Hague, Veghel, Emmeloord, Zoetermeer, Katwijk, various car and motorcycle shows and performances on ships.
Characteristic of the quality is the fact that Angus Young (guitarist AC DC) very much wanted to play at the festival in Vlaardingen, unfortunately this performance could not take place to the great disappointment of Restless Sinner and the organization, because of an accident of the bassist one day before the performance, perhaps next year the second chance.
As previously mentioned, entertaining and interaction with the audience is an important element and
elements such as Dutch-speaking, humorous blues/rock songs are included in the program on request.
Important element, if requested, songs specially written for the occasion will be performed with the proper information, thinking of the location, special important people, meetings, etc.

Review Restless Sinner, Ron van Varik
Sometimes a band suddenly pops up that grabs you by the throat, and Restless Sinner does exactly that with The Game is Over.
An album that doesn't ask for your attention, but simply demands it.
During the album presentation in Musicon in The Hague, it was immediately clear: this is not a polished studio record, but an honest, raw and sincere blues rock experience.
Recorded live, as it should be.
Because real music should be felt.
Raymunda Vervaeck is a frontwoman out of the thousands.
A golden throat, a big mouth and a small heart - and when she sings, soul splashes off the walls.
Her voice sounds like whiskey with a widow's cigarette for breakfast and has that addictive, lived-in edge that makes you fall in love with it immediately.
But above all, let's not forget the rest of the band.
Newcomer Cary van Rheenen adds just that extra layer of filth with his blues harp that good blues rock calls for. Guitarists Amon Gijzemijter and Martin Waliana show that there is one thing better than rock, and that is blues rock.
Bassman Robin Kraag and drummer Pat de Wolf lay down a rhythm section so tight you can put your beer on it.
Eight songs, no fillers, just killers.
This is music taken from life, full of feeling and no fuss. You can hear the energy, the mistakes, the passion - everything that really makes a band.

Restless Sinner shows with The Game is Over that blues/rock is alive and well.
This game has only just begun.
Review Martin, Blues Magazine
Restless Sinner, formerly Raymunda, returns with The Game is Over, an energetic live album recorded at Hedon. With raw blues rock in the style of AC/DC and Janis Joplin, the band brings seven explosive tracks and one psychedelic rest. Impressive and compelling.
Review Jan Wolf, Blues Magazine
Restless Sinner is the band that managed to hit high notes in 2019 under the name Raymunda with the album All of Me. A few years and some changes in personnel, the formation around singer Raymunda is back with another stunner of a record. The Game is Over was recorded live at Hedon in Zwolle in October of last year. The latest work contains eight songs and no fewer than seven are played with a ferocity that can best be described as the musical equivalent of what is known in military circles as scorched earth tactics. Indeed, there is a relentless onslaught onstage, and when the band has fizzled out, what is left is such an impressive trail of display of power that any band unlucky enough to perform after Restless Sinner faces an impossible task.
