The basis for this band was laid in the early 90's in a rehearsal studio on the Oude Delft. After 25 years the music style is still best described with cool funky grooves!

Almost 60, so about time for a real party again! Beautiful location in the park, tasty snacks, good wine and beautiful weather, but then that music by the band Bought and Souled... WONDERFUL!!! No one could stand... what a sound, what a swing and what fun men!!! Really everyone thought it was a great band, which made my party unforgettable! Thanks huh guys, so I can never throw another party, because it does not get better than this !;-))

With the wonderful music of Sweet Sour Grooves you have top entertainment on your stage. The music is nice and up to date and accessible for everyone. The gig was exactly what we were looking for for the OWee of 2020 and everyone enjoyed it immensely. I really enjoyed working with the guys, the communication went smoothly and they were thinking along to make the gig as smooth as possible

Sweet & Sour Grooves has performed 2 times now in Café Vanouds De twee kruikjes, and both times it was a resounding success. While half of the venue was filled with the 5-piece band, instruments and equipment, the other half (the audience) went wild during the tight solos and improvisations of the band members. Highly recommended for intimate bathroom concerts to medium-sized party venues!

On the occasion of the introduction week of our student association we have booked Sweet Sour Grooves for a live gig. Soon our terrace in the sun turned into a cozy party with great music. Because of the funky/groovy sound of these guys it quickly became very difficult to stand still. highly recommended!

For the opening of our new shop in the centre of Amsterdam, Sweet and Sour Grooves gave a fantastic performance. From all over the neighbourhood people came to the swinging music, which of course was great for our publicity ;-), thanks!
