Rock 'n' Ronnie is a rock & roll duo consisting of Marc 'Rock' la Chapelle (keyboard/vocals) and Ronald 'Ronnie' Welgemoed (vocals/guitar). Two old (musical) rotten guys who have played a lot together in bands like Roots '86 and Rebel in the past. Now they have found each other in their love for the old fifties rock & roll.
They explore the boundaries of this music and besides R&R they also play rockabilly, rockin' blues and hillbilly boogie. Songs by Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Chuck Berry, but also by Buck Owens, Hank Williams, Muddy Waters pass in review at their extremely swinging performances. Now also available for the larger pubs, halls and festivals with The Rock 'n' Ronnie Band with Frank Jonckers on double bass and William van Veenendaal on drums.
